Threatbear Logo

Threatbear was created out of a desire for not-for-profit and mission organisations to have access to expert cybersecurity services, consulting and advice.

We observed that many for-purpose organisations were plagued with poor technology governance, significant technical debt and overworked staff. Often this resulted in poor cybersecurity hygiene, data breaches and harm to staff.

We're here to offer an alternative.

Technical debt is defined as  “a collection of design or implementation constructs that make future changes more costly or impossible”. Over the course of the past 15 years, missions and not-for-profit organisations have accumulated a significant amount of technical debt.

At some point this debt will need to be repaid.

Ransomware and other organised cybercrime groups are, as some commentators have pointed out, are the “technical debt collectors”!

This has started to play out in other industries and, more recently in not-for-profit and missions circles.

Threatbear enables mission and not-for-profit organisations to reach further by making them more resilient to cybersecurity threats.

We have over 20 years experience providing Information Technology and cybersecurity services to the missions and for-purpose organisations.
