If you're trying to install Elastic Defend on macOS Sequoia, the system extension management screen in system preferences has been moved.
Previously, as documented in Elastic Defend Mac Troubleshooting it was in System Preferences under the "Privacy & Security" tab.
In macOS Sequoia, they are now under the General tab.
Step 1 - finding the extensions page
If you're on Sequoia, it is now under System Preferences under :
1. General > Login Items & Extensions
2. Scroll down to Extensions
I don't have a machine with Sequoia at the moment, but based upon information available online the new Extensions management has categories for Network and Endpoint Security classes of extensions.
Step 2 - Enabling the ElasticEndpoint extensions
Navigate to each of these categories (Endpoint Security and Network Extensions) and enable the extensions named "ElasticEndpoint".
Once you've done that, please reboot your Mac so that the extensions can take effect.

This post shows you how to easily deploy Elastic agent using a powershell script to secure your fleet.
